A global Estate
Work with growers, researchers and communities across remarkable botanical landscapes. Some roles include opportunities to travel, conduct fieldwork and help establish new parts of the Estate.

Ebbor is bringing together exceptional people to discover, study, preserve and share remarkable plants from around the world.
The work begins at Home Farm in Somerset and extends across the landscapes, growers and communities of the wider Estate. We combine field research, analytical science, fine-drink production and an AI-native way of working to build a company designed for generations.
A company built to outlast us
Ebbor is creating a new kind of company: part farm, part laboratory, part production studio and part global community of growers and members.
Its heart is at Home Farm in Somerset, but its work reaches across landscapes, disciplines and cultures.
This is an early company with a long horizon. We want to build something known not only for what it makes, but for the plants it helps preserve, the knowledge it develops and the value it creates for the people who grow them.

The opportunity
Ebbor sits between agriculture, science, culture and technology.
Depending on your role, the work might take you into an orchard with a grower, across the world in search of an exceptional plant, into the laboratory to understand its chemistry, or behind the camera to bring its story to our members.
We are looking for people excited by unfamiliar places, difficult questions and the opportunity to work across disciplines.

Work with growers, researchers and communities across remarkable botanical landscapes. Some roles include opportunities to travel, conduct fieldwork and help establish new parts of the Estate.

Study cultivars, harvests, growing conditions and plant chemistry — and turn what we learn into better decisions, better drinks and enduring knowledge.

Our laboratory is integrated with growing and production. The work does not end with a report: we can follow an idea from the landscape, through analysis and preservation, into something experienced by our members.

Every plant leads to people, knowledge and place. Film, photography, writing, events and member experiences are part of the Estate — not an afterthought to it.

How we work
Ebbor creates products rooted in plants, places and human experience. Behind them is an AI-native company.
We use sophisticated AI to accelerate research, connect knowledge across the global Estate, improve how the company operates and identify new plants, landscapes and opportunities worth investigating.
Technology does not replace human judgement. It gives our growers, scientists, makers and operators more powerful ways to discover, understand and decide.
Human judgement, extended by better intelligence.
The work
Building the Botanical Estate requires people who see plants — and the possibilities within them — from very different perspectives.
The breadth of work within Ebbor — not a list of current vacancies.
Growing, gathering and caring for exceptional plants at Home Farm and across the wider Estate.
Understanding plants, how they have been used and the knowledge held by the communities around them.
Studying plant chemistry, comparing harvests and following measurable compounds through preservation and production.
Extracting, preserving, composing, filling and finishing every edition with precision.
Finding remarkable plants and building enduring relationships with the people and places protecting them.
Bringing harvests, growers, landscapes and discoveries to life for our members.
Creating thoughtful relationships, events and moments that make membership genuinely valuable.
Building the intelligent systems through which Ebbor researches, operates, communicates and grows.
Turning an ambitious international Botanical Estate into a disciplined and enduring company.

How we work together
Ebbor is still early in its life. The work is hands-on, fast-moving and rarely confined to a single discipline.
A conversation in an orchard may lead to an investigation in the laboratory, a change in production, a film from a grower or a new story for our members.
We value people who are curious, rigorous and generous with what they know. People who care about detail, question assumptions and want their work to contribute to something larger than their job title.
No one person has the complete answer. The strength of Ebbor comes from different kinds of knowledge working together.
The Botanical Estate crosses landscapes and cultures. Its team should bring together different backgrounds, ages, disciplines and ways of seeing.
Home Farm · Somerset
Home Farm is where the Estate comes together. It is where plants arrive, experiments are run, editions are composed and ideas become real.
Some roles are firmly rooted in Somerset because the work happens physically among the plants, laboratory and production studio. Others reach across the wider Estate or involve international travel.
Every opportunity will explain clearly where the work happens, the working pattern and what the role requires.

We are building a company across several disciplines, and not every important contribution begins with a vacancy we have already written.

Introduce yourself
Some of the people who will shape Ebbor may not fit a conventional vacancy.
If you are doing remarkable work with plants, science, technology, culture, storytelling or communities — and believe it belongs within the Botanical Estate — we would like to hear from you.
Tell us what you understand unusually well, where your curiosity has taken you and what you would like to help build.
