Rates apply to sound fruit, picked from the tree or hedgerow. Send us photographs before you pick; we agree the final rate, quantity and collection date in advance. Exceptional varieties may be priced separately.

A harvest can give a tree a future.
Some old cultivars survive in gardens, orchards and hedgerows because someone has continued to care for them. Modern markets reward yield and uniformity. Ebbor looks for the opposite: fruit with distinctive flavour, natural chemistry and provenance.
By creating demand for rare, unusual and traditional varieties, we give people a reason to keep them in cultivation.
How it works
You pick. We collect.
Send a photo
Message us on WhatsApp with a photograph, your location and what you think the fruit may be. You do not need to know the variety, but it's great if you do.
Agree the harvest
We confirm the fruit, rate, estimated quantity and collection date before you pick.
Pick, then we collect
Pick sound fruit from the tree or hedgerow into clean boxes or crates and jot down the date you harvested it. We collect the agreed harvest.
We do not buy fruit gathered from the ground.
Choose payment in cash, or bottles from the edition your harvest helped make, or a combination of both.

Within reach of Ebbor.
We are currently only able to work with custodians within a 30-mile radius of Ebbor Gorge.
