Ebbor creates botanical drinks from rare cultivars and remarkable plants.
We search the world for exceptional fruit, berries and botanicals—and for the growers, orchards and places that protect them.
Modern agriculture has favoured yield, uniformity and ease of cultivation. Along the way, exceptional plants and entire orchards have been overlooked: rare cultivars, local varieties and remarkable survivors growing in places no longer considered commercially valuable.
We believe they deserve a future.
By transforming their fruit into fine and rare drinks, we create value that can help protect, propagate and celebrate the plants—and the people and places that have kept them alive.
Most crops are valued by weight, yield, appearance and market price.
We look at what makes a plant genuinely exceptional: its chemistry, flavour, rarity and provenance.
We measure the fruit and assess its potential for creating an Ebbor drink. If it is genuinely exceptional, we pay significantly above the market rate.
Because exceptional quality should create more value for the person who grows and protects it.
At our estate in Somerset, we plant, grow and harvest alongside the farmers and orchardists we work with.
We understand the realities of growing. Our approach is personal, practical and straightforward.
Whether you grow at scale, manage an orchard left behind by commercial agriculture or care for a single remarkable plant, we would like to hear from you.
How it works
Send us a few details and photographs.
If it could be right for Ebbor, we will arrange a sample and examine its chemistry and character.
For genuinely exceptional fruit, we pay significantly above the market rate and explore a lasting partnership.
No formal proposal. No laboratory results. Just tell us what you have.
Some of the world’s most remarkable plants survive in forgotten orchards, old gardens and unexpected places.
